With Book Buddy visits, Mystery Readers, a brilliant book swap and lots of sharing of stories. World Book Day on Thursday was brilliant; Thank you all for your efforts in making it such an amazing day for the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We enjoyed moving around the different classes for activities with different teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs Lace read &#8216;Omar, the Bees and Me!&#8217;. We then decorated an envelope and added wildflower seeds. They took their inspiration from the &#8216;Little People, Big Dreams&#8217; books. class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tinga Tinga Tales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We shared the tale of Why Giraffe has a Long Neck this week. The children enjoyed applying their knowledge of time adverbials, like &#8216;in the beginning&#8217; and &#8216;after some time&#8217; as well as choosing right choice adjectives to retell the story. On Wednesday, children chose their favourite Tinga Tinga Tale to retell.
