We have done some whole-class reading lessons and have been developing our inference and comprehension skills. Please keep reading lots at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maths<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>We have started our &#8216;Addition and Subtraction&#8217; unit of work. This week we have been adding by counting on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/itchyprojects.co.uk\/2026\/dev\/transfer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then we moved on to addition using number bonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/itchyprojects.co.uk\/2026\/dev\/transfer\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Computing<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>We contniued with our unit on algorithms this week by ordering and following a set of instructions on how to make toast. The children should now all be able to confidently name and identify materials, including wood, plastic, glass, paper, metal, fabric and brick. We have spent discussing what this means and where we all belong.
