Welcome to Gatekeepers Cottage<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Gatekeeper\u2019s Cottage is set in the grounds of Grinkle Park Hotel and Estate on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tucked away on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors between Whitby and Guisborough just of the A171. Gatekeeper\u2019s cottage is perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire coastline, the Moors, or to travel on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and York only just over an hour away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also benefits from a private outside patio area where you can enjoy cooking a pizza or relax in a wood fired hot tub surrounded by beautiful woodland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests will also receive a welcome hamper and have access to free Wi-Fi throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Gatekeeper’s Cottage<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our refurbished cottage has two bedrooms which are able to sleep up to four guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cottage is just a short drive from all your essential needs, restaurants, pubs, local supermarkets as well being only a 10 minute walk from the North York Moors National Park.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Grinkle Park Hotel and Estate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Guest are also welcome at Grinkle Park Hotel, just follow the drive down from the Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      With all the athmosphere of a Victorian country house and many of its original features – high embossed ceilings and fine wood panelling – it’s the place to relax in front of a roaring fire or on the terrace overlooking the gardens with a chilled glass of wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Come and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, dinner in our Conyers Restaurant or the more informal lounge menu whilst relaxing with a drink which is a few minutes walk away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Things to do<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      From Gatekeeper\u2019s Cottage there is plenty to see and do. We\u2019re situated in the midst of the North Yorkshire Moors with hiking adventures right at our doorstep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Take the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a great sight-seeing experience. Spend the day in Whitby and explore Whitby Abbey and Captain Cook\u2019s Birthplace Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Take a trip to the coastal fishing villages of North Yorkshire such as Runswick Bay and the beautiful town of Staithes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
