But Norton\u2019s ambition extended beyond the mills: he chose a lofty spot on a hillside in Denby Dale so that Bagden Hall could sit above the smog and bustle of the industrial valley below, yet still command views across his lands and enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
